The artwork you see above is designed by Kristof Van Den Eede. He made it for an assignment ordered by Howest. The goal was to refabricate a song, using only typography. Inspired by the song 'Flux', he created this.
Bloc party is composed of Kele Okereke, Russell Lissack, Godon Moaks and matt tong. Inspired by The Cure, Joy Division, Sonic Youth and Radiohead.
At the 1999 reading festival by Koreke and Lissack they formed the band, they first went through numerous names before they decided to stick with the name Bloc Party. An English indie rock band was formed. they were discovered by DJ Steve Lamacq and Franz Ferdinand’s lead singer, Alex Kapranos by handing over their demo 'She’s hearing voices'.
By February 2005 they released their debut album silent alarm. It was crowned as 'indie album of the year'. In august 2008 Bloc Party released their third sudio record, Intimacy.
